He holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Sacramento, USA, in 1994. He previously held administrative positions at the Kuwait Investment Authority as an internal auditor, covering the Authority's subsidiaries and funds in local and international markets. He also served as CEO of Zain Kuwait from 2013 to 2015, until becoming Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Communications and Information Technology Regulatory Authority (CITRA) from August 2022 to May 21, 2024.
